Although Test Signoffs are typically done at Business Task level (as a result of the general principle that generally testing is done at overall change level), it is possible to signoff testing of individual transports in certain test queues, depending on the configuration of ActiveControl.
This transport level ‘partial testing’ scenario was introduced to support unit test signoffs, whereby a transport owner may want to sign off their own unit testing, whilst other transports being delivered on the same change (ie Business Task) are still being worked on in development.
Transport level Test Queue signoffs can be done via both the My Testing app (by selecting only the desired transport(s) in the Enter Test Results screen, or alternatively via the Global View.
