As mentioned previously, it is possible to bypass a target for the duration of an SAP system refresh, to avoid transports getting ‘stuck’ in a system that is currently not available.
ActiveControl also includes a couple of utility reports specifically designed to help during the refresh / copyback process:
- System Rebuild after Database Copy – this can be used to rebuild a Target with any transports that were previously deployed to the refreshed system, but never reached the Production system
- Transport Activity Report – this can be used to re-add any transports that bypassed / skipped the refreshed system.
