The majority of Basis Technologies’ customers allow their Development, Functional, Securities and Basis Teams create transports directly within SAP (eg. in the SAPGUI of the Development system.
However there are some customers that prefer to create the Transports within ActiveControl, generally because transport creation is a central responsibility of specific users such as Team Leads or Change Managers. For these customers, SAP Transports can be created by authorised users from within the Web Platform.
