As part of an SAP landscape involving parallel Development tracks, there is a likelihood that changes may be made to the same objects in the parallel Development systems in the same time period. ActiveControl Inline Conflict Analysis can be switched on to run automatically in the Development SAPGUI at the point objects are being added to a transport, to highlight to the Transport Owner that the change they are making conflicts with changes containing the same object(s) that have already been made in the parallel Development track(s).
Inline Conflict Analysis is purely informational – it will not prevent the SAP team from making their change in either system.
