As was mentioned in the disclaimer section in the Introduction of this User Guide, every SAP customer is slightly different in their processes, organisational structure and use of different SAP applications.

Similarly, no two Basis Technologies’ customers have the exact same setup of ActiveControl. For example, some are single track whilst others are N+1, some use Transport of Copies as part of their processes but others do not etc.

Since no two ActiveControl customers uses all the functionality available within the product, Feature Deactivation capability within ActiveControl can be used by your local Administrators to hiden individual features, screens and buttons, ultimately to simplify the UX for end users, and avoid time being spent trying to click on buttons or filling in screens that are not used as part of your own ActiveControl processes.

As a result of this, some of the information presented in this User Guide may not be relevant within your own organisation, either because a specific feature is not configured, or because it has been completely hidden via feature deactivation. If in doubt, please contact your local ActiveControl Administrator if you think you are missing something mentioned in this User Guide that is relevant to your job.
