Choosing the Select option from the menu import and pressing the confirm button , the screen for File List, as shown in the figure below, which allows the user to browse the folder and file structure of the portable memory.
The limit maps are composed of broken files with extensions “.SHP”, “.DBF” and “.SHX”, and are organized in portable memory as defined by the user. It can browse the folders in the portable memory until it finds the limit map file, presented with the type “SHP” in the table, which you want to import into internal memory. The following figure shows an example of the screen of the limit map files present in the portable memory.
Selecting one of the boundary maps SHP from the list and pressing the load button , the file will be imported into the monitor’s internal memory GeoNave. While the file is being imported, the Loading shown in the following image is presented, containing the number of files to be transferred, the current counter of files already transferred, and the name of the map file being transferred.
After the import is finished, the screen type Information will indicate that the file has been loaded to internal memory, as shown in the image below.
In the same way as described for the menu To view it is possible to view the limit map by pressing the view button on the file list screen.
