5.1. Monitor Fixation

The system GeoNave it is accompanied by a set of three suction cups, which must be used to adhere to a flat surface, preferably to one of the glasses of the cabin of the agricultural machine. The set has an articulated arm , which must be connected to the two spheres, one being present in the trio of suction cups and the other attached to the monitor , as shown in the figure below.

The following is a description of how to use the monitor mounting kit.

Trio of suction cups

1. Find a flat and smooth area for fixing the set of suction cups, preferably one of the windows of the machine cabin;
2. Clean the area with a cloth and mild soap;
3. Dry the area well before fixing the suction cups, ensuring that it is free of dust;
4. Place the three suction cups in the open position “OFF”;
5. Accommodate the three suction cups on smooth and flat parts of the surface;
6. Press the suction cup against the surface, and turn the three suction cup control to the closed position “ON”, to make the suction and secure the assembly.

Articulated arm

1. Unscrew the handle until the ends of the arm are able to embrace the two rubber balls – from the trio of suction cups and the monitor;
2. Position the monitor in the most comfortable way for its correct viewing, moving the articulated arm;
3. Screw the handle until the whole assembly is firm and in the desired position.

*For tractors that do not have a cabin, the set of suction cups must be installed on the front fairing of the machine, so that the three suction cups are fully adhered to the surface, which must be as flat and smooth as possible. The surface must be clean, dry and free of dust.
