7.1.11. Longitude

Longitude represents the distance in degrees of a point on the Earth’s surface in relation to the Greenwch Meridian, which is the imaginary line that separates the Earth in the Western (West) and Eastern (East) hemispheres. The longitude value can vary between -180 (West) and +180 (East) degrees.
