7.1.8. HDOP

HDOP it is a parameter commonly used to analyze the signal quality of a GNSS. Its value reflects how widespread the satellite constellation visible by the system is currently in the dome. The more spread out, the better the precision condition of the system, and the lower the value of HDOP.
Values ​​of HDOP considered optimal are below 1.0.
