Signal Quality is information by which the user checks the quality level of the signal reception. GNSS of the system GeoNave. The item can have the following values, which are described in the following table, including the icon shown in the Information Board navigation screen for each condition.

Signal Quality description Sign Icon
No signal There is no sign of GNSS present in the system, or the antenna is disconnected.
Weak The quality of the GNSS is lower than acceptable, it is not recommended to operate the system in this state. For this status to be displayed:
  • Number of satellites used < 8 e HDOP > 2.0
Medium The quality of the GNSS is at a level considered medium. To achieve this state:
  • Number of satellites used < 8 e HDOP between 1.0 and 2.0
Good The quality of the GNSS is at a level considered good. For this state, there are two conditions:
  • Number of satellites used < 8 e HDOP < 1.0
  • Number of satellites used> = 8 and HDOP between 1.0 and 2.0
Great The quality of the GNSS is great, ideal for the correct operation of the system. In this state:
  • Number of satellites used> = 8 and HDOP < 1.0
