6.1. Turn on and turn off

Turning on the monitor GeoNave

To turn on the monitor GeoNave, after correctly following all the steps described in the section Installation, press the black button positioned on the left side of the monitor, as shown in the image below. A short beep will be heard, indicating that the system has been turned on.

The system initialization screen will appear, containing the manufacturer’s logo. Then the loading screen for all system configurations is shown.

Finally, the system’s initial screen is shown, containing the three main menus – Contact Information, Navigation and settings.

Turning off the monitor GeoNave

The procedure for turning off the monitor GeoNave it’s just as simple. Just press the black button positioned on the left side of the monitor, as shown in the image below.

The short beep will be heard and the following screen will be shown, including a 10-second countdown for automatic shutdown.

During the countdown:

• If the user does not press any key within 10 seconds, the system will automatically shut down.
• If the user presses the Confirm button , shutdown will occur instantly.
• If the user presses the Cancel button , the shutdown process ends, and the system returns to the previous screen.
  

*When an event is open on the navigation screen, it is not possible to turn off the GeoNave through the black side button.

!Do not turn off the monitor GeoNave disconnecting the power cables. There may be loss of information about the work in progress, in addition to electrical damage to the system.
