6.3.5. Text Editing

The Text Edit screen template is used to enter the value of a textual parameter. The screen is basically composed of the typing keyboards, graphics items, touch-sensitive buttons, title, and the area for viewing the typed text.

*The maximum text size of a parameter value is 40 characters.

There are four keyboard models available. In the examples below, the screens for changing the Culture parameter are presented and described.

Capital letters keyboard

Item	description
	Title bar of the text editing screen, containing the name of the textual parameter being edited.
	Touch-sensitive button to return to a screen, returning to the previous menu.
	Standard capital letters keyboard QUERTY, with space bar.
	Key Backspace, used to erase the last character entered.
	Key Shift in the active state, to switch to the lowercase keyboard.
	Key to switch to the special character keyboard.
	Key to switch to the numeric digit keyboard.
	Area for viewing typed text.
	Confirm touch-sensitive button to save the new textual value of the parameter.

Lowercase keyboard

Item	description
	Title bar of the text editing screen, containing the name of the textual parameter being edited.
	Touch-sensitive button to return to a screen, returning to the previous menu.
	Querty standard lowercase keyboard with space bar.
	Key Backspace, used to erase the last character entered.
	Key Shift in the normal state, to switch to the capitalized keyboard.
	Key to switch to the special character keyboard.
	Key to switch to the numeric digit keyboard.
	Area for viewing typed text.
	Confirm button, to save the new textual value of the parameter.

Numeric digit keypad

Item	description
	Title bar of the text editing screen, containing the name of the textual parameter being edited.
	Touch-sensitive button to return to a screen, returning to the previous menu.
	Numeric digit keyboard with space bar.
	Key Backspace, used to erase the last character entered.
	Key to switch to the special character keyboard.
	Key to switch to the capitalized keyboard.
	Area for viewing typed text.
	Confirm button, to save the new textual value of the parameter.

Special character keyboard

	Title bar of the text editing screen, containing the name of the textual parameter being edited.
	Touch-sensitive button to return to a screen, returning to the previous menu.
	Special character keyboard with space bar.
	Key Backspace, used to erase the last character entered.
	Key to switch to the capitalized keyboard.
	Key to switch to the numeric digit keyboard.
	Area for viewing typed text.
	Confirm button, to save the new textual value of the parameter.

*After clicking the confirm button for any keyboard pattern, the screen will be displayed Saving Parameter. In this screen, the new textual value of the parameter will be saved in the GeoNave. In the sequence, the next screen presented will be the source screen of the text editing.
