The system monitor GeoNave has a set of22 LEDs of high brightness, 4 central ones in green, 6 yellow, 6 orange, and 6 red, which form the light bar of the agricultural navigation system.
The light bar is used to guide the navigation of the agricultural machine on the guides. The operator’s objective when observing the light bar is to turn the machine’s steering wheel in the direction indicated by the LEDs, and the intensity of the number of LEDs that are lit in this direction.
The image below shows how the LEDlightbar s in the monitor cabinet GeoNave.
In this other image below, an example of straight-line navigation is shown. The deviation from the guide is 80 cm to the right. In this way, the light bar guides the user to turn the steering wheel a little to the left, to correct the deviation smoothly. The symbol of “<” representa a mesma direção indicada pela barra de luzes logo ao lado esquerdo do valor do desvio.
Another example shown in the image below illustrates the lightbar for a large deviation from the guide. You can see that all LEDs on the right of the lightbar are lit, indicating that the operator must turn the steering wheel all the way in this direction.
When the autopilot license is active, the lightbar is also used to indicate the status of the autopilot when it is engaged. In addition to the information on the agricultural machine’s indicating triangle in green, LEDs of the lightbar assume the configuration shown in the following image.
