Matter closure

Modification of matter status rules

New parameters are introduced to enable the parametrization of the creation of journals at an individual transaction type level. Users can control the creating and posting of journals for each transactions type i.e., Hour, Expense, Fee and Item.

Go to Matter management and accounting > Setup > Matter management and accounting parameters > Matter status tab > Select matter status > Matter status rules

Note – These parameters are dependent on parameter Create journals. Once Create journals enabled only user can enable the newly added parameters.

Matter closure workspace

A new matter closure workspace has been introduced with tiles and links to provide enhanced view and information to the users related to matter closure process.

User can view information such as

• Tile with information of number of matters with Marked for closure status.
• Tile with information of number of matters with days since without any transactions posted.
• Tile with information of number of matters which are submitted and awaiting for write-off approval.
• Links to Matter closure inquiry and Matter closure periodic process.
