Auto publish WBS using work classification

Overview

This enhancement to the evergreen work classification feature streamlines matter setup by introducing the ability to automatically publish the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) upon matter creation.

Key features

• Automatic WBS publishing: When configured, the WBS for a matter is automatically created and published based on the selected work classification during matter creation.
• Customisable setup: Users can enable the “Automatically publish WBS” flag for specific work classifications to suit their organisation’s requirements.

How it works

To enable this functionality:

1. Navigate to Matter management and accounting > Setup > Matters > Work classification.
2. Enable the “Automatically publish WBS” flag for the desired work classification.
3. When this flag is activated, the WBS is automatically created and published whenever a matter is created with the specified work classification.

Note: This enhancement requires the “(evergreen) Work classification” feature to be enabled.

This enhancement reduces manual steps in matter setup, improving efficiency and ensuring consistency in WBS creation.
