A bug was raised by one of our evergreen clients around the information displayed on the invoice report
The invoice report presents the fee earner name as
Known as + Last name
A solution to this bug must consider multiple ways of setting up an employee name, therefore might need some sort of configuration.
Proposed solution
The requirement to use “Known as”, as the fee earner first name, as other clients may use the first name.
In order to allow existing clients to keep using “Known as” as the first name, a new parameter will be added to invoice template configuration:
When this parameter is true in the invoice template configuration, the current method of displaying the fee earner name will be in place. If this parameter is false, the fee earner name will be displayed as First name + Last name.
