Default dimension rules – project creation

When a matter or sub-matter are created in evergreen, the financial dimensions will be automatically defaulted from the matter partner due to an existing customisation. This functionality is incompatible with the new default dimension rules.

Default dimension rules provide a tool to assign dimensions automatically based on a configurable combination of sources and dimension types. When using this tool, the notion of defaulting financial dimensions from a predefined fixed source is now obsolete. To cater for the situation where the dimensions on matter creation are defaulted from the matter partner, the following changes will be implemented:

• It should be possible to select any of the three responsible workers on the project when setting up default rules for projects and subprojects.
• When a project or subproject is created, only the default dimension rules will be applicable.
