Enable simplified matter budgeting to Team member license users

Introduction:

Users with a Team member license were previously limited to viewing simplified project/matter budgeting details on the project/matter screen. However, in alignment with evergreen business processes, it is crucial for these users to configure this information as well. This release introduces a new screen that empowers Team member license users to edit simplified project/matter details.

Simplified Matter Budgeting:

Configuration for simplified matter budgeting is now available from the “Simplified matter budgeting” button under section Plan > Budget in the matter screen:

This newly introduced button provides identical functionalities to the simplified project/matter budgeting section available on the matter screen.

Security Configuration:

To grant access to the simplified matter budgeting screen, please ensure that users have been assigned the following security privileges:

• View only permission: Simplified matter budgeting view
• Maintain permission: Simplified matter budgeting maintain

These privileges are utilised out-of-the-box by the “Inquire into matter master” and “Maintain matter master” duties, respectively.
