The purpose of this enhancements is to restrict the client accounts to be used for trust accounting to the matters and the office account to be used is active and accepts the invoice currency in the invoice proposal.

A new parameter Show all matters in contract introduced in MMA parameters and in matter invoice proposal form. on marking this parameter. User can access client accounts of other matters of the invoice proposal matter contract, not being part of the current invoice proposal.

Additionally, technical enhancements have been implemented to improve performance on the client accounting functionality. Client account inquiries and reports, including BI objects will run with better performance providing the end user with reduced response times and a better experience. Client account balances on client account journals and client money allocations for matter invoices will calculate faster improving form usability on journals and invoices.

TCOI payment reversals will be handled through Cancel payment option in client transactions form. It has been now enhanced to reverse postings to the matter and client bank account ledgers and accurate client bank accounts balances.

Client accounting performance improvement

Performance on inquiries, reports and processes for client accounting functionality has been improved.

This improvement has required some changes to the database schema. In order to accommodate these changes on existing evergreen systems, an automatic update process will update the necessary tables. This process will be automatically scheduled and run as a batch job upon completion of the evergreen 10.0.9 deployment. The update will run unattended. Administrators can check the update job execution on the batch jobs inquiry.

In order to provide with a manual tool to run the update process, the consistency check has been extended to allow administrators to check and fix client account transactions. The consistency check will only be necessary in the event of the automatic update process not being executed.
