Enable setting matter/project responsibilities with an effective date

Introduction:

This enhancement empowers users to assign project/matter responsibilities with precision by incorporating an effective date.

Feature Management:

To activate the functionality allowing users to set an effective date for project/matter responsibilities, ensure that feature (evergreen) Enable project/matter responsibilities with effective date is turned on.

How to Use:

1. Navigate to the project/matter where you want to assign responsibilities.
2. Access the Responsibilities section under the Project/Matter tab.
3. While assigning a responsibility, you will see an option to set an effective date.
4. Choose the desired date and click OK. Please note future dates are not allowed.

Executing this action will designate the responsible person on the project/matter and log the specified effective date in the responsibilities history.

Note: This feature will render the responsible fields non-editable in the project/matter screen. Any modifications to responsibilities must be carried out using the newly introduced buttons for changing project/matter responsibilities.

Mass Update Process:

Users can also assign responsibilities with an effective date to projects/matters in bulk through the Mass Update Process.

Project/Matter management and accounting > Periodic > Mass update project/matter management
