A new Hub workspace is introduced to handle the information (Such as News, Yammer, Info alert, Recent used matters, My matter tiles, My time sheet, My invoice proposal) for each employee in an organization. All these information’s can be configure based on required setup in the system.
Hub definition Setup
We have introduced this setup to control the access of information under “Hub workspace” based on “Security roles” defined here with respect to “security roles” defined on users.
Matter management and accounting > Setup > Hub > Hub definitions

Note – If a user does not have security roles defined on hub definitions, then user will not able to view the information under hub workspace. |
Hub Parameters
A new button “Hub parameters” introduced under hub definition setup where we have setups for each type of information’s(Such as news, Yammer, info alert, recent used matters etc.,) to enable or disable the tab of information under hub workspace.
In Hub definition setup form > Hub parameters > Tabs tab
| Fields | Description |
| Show dashboard tab | Mark this parameter to enable the “Dashboard” tab on Hub workspace. |
| Show news tab | Mark this parameter to enable the “News” tab on Hub workspace. |
| Show yammer tab | Mark this parameter to enable the “Yammer” tab on Hub workspace. |
| Network | Define the name of the network that user are connected |
| Feed Id | Define Id from the Yammer post so, that system will show the details under “Hub workspace” |
| Feed type | Define the value “Group” |
| Show most recently used matters tab | Mark this parameter to enable the “Most recently used matters” tab on Hub workspace. |
| Most recently used matters count | It will show recent matters used based on the number defined. |
| If this field is “0” then it will show the 20 recent matters used and it is the maximum limit. | |
| Enable Info alert | Mark this parameter to enable the alert on the top under Hub workspace |
| Info alert | Define the message to show the alert on the top under Hub workspace |
| Show search tab | Mark this parameter to enable the “Search” tab on Hub workspace. |
| Background url | Hub workspace background is fetched based on the url defined |
| Show useful links tab | Mark this parameter to enable the “useful links” tab on Hub workspace. |
| Enable useful links usage | Mark this parameter to show the records under “Most recently used links” after user click a record under useful links tab in hub workspace |
| Show useful actions tab | Mark this parameter to enable the “useful actions” tab on Hub workspace. |
| Enable useful actions usage | Mark this parameter to calculate the number click on the specific records under tab “Useful actions” in hub workspace. This count will be recorded in background. |
Tiles tab

| Show my work items tile | Mark this parameter to enable the “My work items” tile on Hub workspace. |
| Show my expense approvals tile | Mark this parameter to enable the “My expense approvals” tile on Hub workspace. |
| Show my matters tile | Mark this parameter to enable the “My matters” tile on Hub workspace. |
| Show my invoice proposals | Mark this parameter to enable the “My invoice proposals” tile on Hub workspace. |
| Show my missing time tile | Mark this parameter to enable the “My missing time” tile on Hub workspace. |
| Show my timesheets tile | Mark this parameter to enable the “My timesheets” tile on Hub workspace. |
| Show time app tile | Mark this parameter to enable the “time app” tile on Hub workspace. |
Hub news
In an organization, if an HR or user want to publish the news to all the employees than news will be defined under Hub news setup and show the news to each employee under hub workspace.

Note – Each user id must be attached to the employee and have the same roles as defined in “Security roles” under Hub definitions. |
Matter management and accounting > Setup > Hub > Hub news
After publishing the news, it will be available under workspace > hub > News tab
Hub actions process
Frequently used forms can be defined here for quick access. These forms will be defined under.
MMA > Setup > Hub > Hub actions
All this above defined useful actions information will be shown in following path
Workspace > Hub > Useful actions tab
When you click on “Matter list page” it will open the matter list form
Hub useful links process
Useful links can be defined here for quick access such as banks, emails, etc.,
Matter management and accounting > Setup > Hub > Hub useful links
When user is click on “Google” and it will open google in new tab, whenever user click the link once then it will show under “Most recently used links”
Yammer and search tab
As an employee who has the yammer access can directly access to yammer within a system and it will allow to like and comment on the yammer post.
Workspaces > Hub > Yammer
Whereas, Search will give you the option to search based on matter id, matter name, client id and client name.
Most recently used matters and Tiles
Display list of recently used matters where hour and time sheet transactions are posted.
A user can have up to 20 maximum recent used matters to be listed and last used matters will be replaced by latest used matters and all those matters will be visible under below path
Workspace > Hub > Most recently used matters
Whereas tiles, will give the following information

| My work items | This tile will display list of work items assigned to the user for approval |
| My expense approvals | This tile will display list of expense work items assigned to the user for approval |
| My matters | This tile will display all the matters created by the user |
| My invoice proposals | This tile will display list of invoice proposals created by the user |
| My timesheets | This tile will display list of time sheets created/submitted by user. |
| Time app | This tile will open the time app application. |
| My missing time | This tile will display missing hours for which time not submitted by user |

Note – While defining the Hub useful links, Hub actions and Hub news user can define for which all hub definitions it will be applicable by specifying All or Custom. For Custom user need to select Hub definitions explicitly. |
