Undertaking flag in client account journals (PFC)

Overview

A new flag is introduced for PFC journals to help cashiers make informed decisions when dealing with undertakings. This functionality will be controlled by the “(evergreen) Matter undertaking“ feature. The flag will automatically indicate whether a PFC journal is linked to an undertaking.

Functional Design

Flag for Undertaking PFC Journals

• PFC journals originating from an undertaking will now have a radio button that is automatically ticked to indicate that it is an undertaking PFC journal.
• This flag will help the cashier quickly identify if the journal is linked to an undertaking.

Create Action

• When using the “Create action“ functionality, a PFC journal can be created to settle the undertaking, either partially or in full.
• A flag will be applied to indicate that this journal is an undertaking PFC journal.

Navigation Path

Navigate to MMA > Undertaking > All Undertaking > Actions > Create Actions to create a new PFC journal linked to an undertaking.
