Job notification

Get notified when a Step in you job has Started, Completed or has error
(e.g. start an approval workflow or send an email.)

The Notification is triggered at the end of the Step.

!Please note that if there are files copied to SharePoint Online from within this step or sub steps, the notification is deferred until all verification messages have been received from Azure.

You can include your own variables in the notification e.g. site URL and other bits of information relevant in the specific context of the job

Notification types
E-Mail (SMTP)
Power Automate to run a cloud flow. (HTTP request trigger) Get notified or start and approval flow. The different pieces of job information is sent to the flow (as variables) and you are able to build your own logic for the notification eg. send an e-mail or initiate an approval sequence etc.
Teams Incoming-Webhook. Send a chat message through the Microsoft Incoming-Webhook app added to a channel. Copy the URL that gets generated in Teams into the URL column. The message must be in JSON. The Microsoft Adaptive Cards format is supported

Notice that “Microsoft Incoming-Webhook” does not support Shared Channels
IMPORTANT: The Adaptive card JSON must be in the form of a connector card for Microsoft 365 Groups.
