Traditional e-mail applications often work with folders for storing your email messages.

Within BaseNet, relations and/or projects are central. You can archive all your emails under relations and/or projects and thus easily retrieve them. The email messages are – if desired – also directly visible to your colleagues.

Archiving a single email

Click on the email you want to archive ➤ click on Archive to

This will trigger a modal:

  1. Enter a project and/or a relation. If the sender was already a relation in the system, it will be auto-filled in this modal
  2. Select a viewing level
  3. Select labels
  4. Type internal notes
  5. If you use the customer intranet and want to publish the email, you can check the box “Publish on portal”.
  6. Choose whether you wish to remove it from your mailbox or not (we recommend you remove it)
  7. Now click on Archive to archive the email and remove it from your email box.

Archiving multiple email messages in one action

  1. Check the emails that you wish to archive
  2. Click on Perform an action
  3. Click on Archive and you will see the same modal as when archiving 1 single email
  4. Fill in the fields and click Archive
