It is possible that a relation is duplicated in the system and that you have accidentally linked hours and correspondence to both relations. This can happen if multiple employees create a relation in the system for the same person. You can fix this using the steps below.
Go to Relations ➤ Individuals, Companies or Contacts (depending on what type of relation was duplicated)
Find the relation that’s the double (the one that you don’t want to keep).
Then click on the checkbox to the left of the row ➤ Perform an action ➤ Move history to another relation ➤ a modal will pop up to ask to which project and/or relation you want to transfer the history to
Then click on Save. You can then set the duplicated/unwanted relation to inactive by clicking on the checkbox to the left of the row ➤ Perform an action ➤ Change state ➤ A modal will pop up where you can set the relation as Inactive
If it concerns a duplicated company and there are 1 or more contacts linked to it, you must take the following into account:
- the correspondence of the contacts linked to the undesired company will be moved to the other company
- the correspondence actually belongs to the company and not to the contact(s) linked to the company
To do this, open the contact page ➤ History tab
Select the correspondence that you want to move from this list ➤ Perform an action ➤ Move history to another relation
