Templates are used in various locations in the system. Templates make it possible to more efficiently compose correspondence. This chapter explains how you can develop or adjust templates for composing an e-mail, letter and/or fax.
For example, you can use templates when composing an email:
A template for composing your correspondence basically consists of various template codes. These template codes refer to fields in your system, for example the relation to which you have linked the letter. When composing a piece of correspondence, the value entered in the system is retrieved for these fields. This value is placed in place of the template code.
