Single elements to polyline

The single elements to polyline function converts connected elements into a polyline. These elements can be closed or open.

To convert elements to polyline:

• Select ‘Single Elements to Polyline’ from the ‘Change’ ribbon.
  
• Select the start element of the polyline, which means clicking on any part of the object to convert it to a polyline.
  
• The function will continue to search for connected elements at either end of the start element to form a polyline.
  
• You can also select the elements you want to convert into a polyline first, then click the “Single elements to polyline” button.
  
• This will convert only selected elements to a polyline.
  
• Your polyline will be created. If you wish, you can set the tool to change the color of the polyline upon creation in ‘General Preferences’
  

• As the tool runs in a loop, you can now select additional single elements to be converted to polyline. When completed, press ‘Confirm’ or ‘Cancel’ to end the function.
