Area/length stamp

Calculate the Area and Length of elements simultaneously by selecting the Area/Length Stamp from the ‘Dimensions’ ribbon or right-click for the ‘Area/length’ stamp shortcut.

Place a text stamp for an individual element, or select multiple elements to stamp the total area and length of the selected elements.

To use the Area/Length Stamp:

• Select the ‘Area/Length Stamp’ tool from the ‘Dimension’ ribbon.
  
• Click/tap to select all the elements, or use the contextual selection options at the top left of the screen to select the elements by selection window or colour.
• Confirm selection with ‘Confirm’ or ‘Enter’
• Click/tap, enter coordinates, or measure to place the area/length stamp on the page.

* Note that in some earlier versions of software, elements must be joined into polylines in order to display the area (square feet) of the elements.
