Quick Aim

The ‘Quick Aim’ function allows a user to have the Flexijet project a point at a distance from a selected point in the the measurement drawing.

For example, this function is useful for pointing the laser in the corner above an existing laminate countertop with backsplash.

To use this function:

• On the ‘Flexijet’ ribbon, click the text below ‘Show CAD-point’ and select ‘Quick Aim’ from the drop-down list
  

• If using touch mode, a numeric pad will pop up asking for the horizontal value. Generally, this value will be ‘0’ when working with countertops, so click enter to continue.
  

• Now, enter the Vertical distance where you want to show the CAD point. A positive value will project the point above where the plane was set (E.G. 4” above for backsplashs), while a negative value will project the point below where the plane was set (E.G. 8” down for sink centre).
  

• Select the point you want to project by tapping or clicking on the screen.
  

• Flexijet will now aim and point the laser at the point at the vertical and horizontal offset specified
