1. Defines those words that will be construed by the construction force to actually mean “approved,” regardless of what the word actually is, along with whatever qualifications that may have been part of the discussion.
2. Notifies the Owner that the construction force is relying on those words specifically as the owner direction to proceed with the work as it is described in the submittal.
