If anything is subject to more than one reasonable interpretation, the contractor has the right to choose the interpretation. The reasons are generally the same as those described for resolving ambiguities. If such a reasonable interpretation is available, there is no duty to continue to search for other “reasonable interpretations.” All that is necessary is that your interpretation be reasonable; it does not even have to be the “most” reasonable.
