The Dispute Clause provides the specific procedure for resolution of serious problems. It may detail a progressive series of steps (such as appealing to higher authorities) or may simply describe the ultimate option (… arbitration …).
Know what your Dispute Clause says, and always follow its instruction precisely. Don’t make your problem worse by taking some action to resolve an issue that is not technically correct.
