Admittedly, it may oftentimes be a challenge to maintain the objectives of the preceding section with respect to the preparation and preservation of the most effective correspondence. The large number of issues, long hours, and other factors too often combine to perpetuate an environment that works against our effectiveness.
The checklist in Figure 2.3.4 summarizes tProject management files for each project will consist of the he objectives of the preceding section as a reminder to help each of us to apply these principles in every situation. Photocopy the exhibit and cut out the checklist. Either post it near your work area, or fold on the perforation and stand it up on your desk. Keep it close as a constant reminder. Refer to it and keep your correspondence focused on achieving timely objectives—and not on keeping fires burning.
