3.2.9 Suggest

The Suggest page (previously known as “Suggested Time”) enables users to create time entries from intelligent suggestions provided by Empower Time.

Current Suggestion Types

  • Email Sent: Suggests time spent drafting emails based on activity.
  • Meetings Attended: Suggests meeting durations. If the meeting wasn’t joined via Microsoft Teams, the default meeting duration is used.
  • Timers: Suggests time based on timers that have been recorded.
  • All View: Combines all suggestion types and highlights gaps in time where no activity has been suggested.

Page Overview

At the top right of the page, users can view the total number of hours for the selected period.

Below this, the page is structured into three main sections to guide the user through the time entry process:

  • Select Suggestion(s): Choose one or more suggested entries to convert into time entries.
  • Select a Quick Tag: Apply a quick tag for categorization or classification of time.
  • Save Time Entry: Finalize and save the selected suggestions as time entries.
