The tabs that are displayed in the Teams app are configurable as part of the deployed Teams App manifest. In the manifest, it can be defined which tabs are displayed. The About tab is a mandatory tab, though, that is added by Microsoft containing information about the application.

The employee tab of pulse is configurable within the page of what tabs and buttons are displayed. This configuration can only be amended on the deployment of the pulse application. The configuration applies to all users. For example, if the ‘Courses’ functionality in evergreen is not used, the tab could be configured to not display. Please see the highlighted ‘Courses’ tab below.

4.2 Branding

Pulse is set up with a standard set of colors. These can be configured to use a customer’s colors rather than the default sa.global colors. The colors that can be changed are limited to the key colors that make up the pulse theme. The customer’s company logo can also be configured to display in the top left next to the empower logo.
