1.1 Pulse Admin Interface
1.1.1 Overview
Alongside this release, improvements have been made to the automated deployment process. The aim has been to optimise the number of steps involved in deployment.
As part of this effort, several admin configuration tasks have been moved into the Empower Pulse application itself rather than requiring completion during the deployment process. This allows Pulse administrators to manage key configuration areas without requiring intervention from IT teams.
The Pulse admin section is accessible from the header navigation—provided the user has admin access assigned.
1.1.2 Application Links on the Projects Page
On the Empower Pulse Projects/Home page, application links are displayed. These links can now be maintained directly by administrators of Pulse.
1.1.3 Features on the Employee Page
On the Empower Pulse Employee page, there is a Features tab. The features listed here can now be configured and maintained by administrators of Pulse.
1.1.4 Max Carry Over on the Employee Leave Tab
On the Empower Pulse Employee page, within the Leave tab, a metric tile displays the carry over amount—showing how much leave a user can carry over.
An admin configuration section has now been added to enable setup of carry over rules by legal entity and leave type. These settings can now be maintained directly by Pulse administrators.
In a future release, this information will be retrieved automatically from Evergreen.
