1.1.1 Performance Improvements
In the initial release of Expenses in Pulse, a loader animation was added due to slow page loads. In this release, the page load has been optimized to improve performance.
1.1.2 Disable Edit/Delete When Status is Not Draft
Edit and delete options were previously available for expenses in statuses other than draft. This has now been corrected.
1.1.3 Update Header Design on the Expense Lines View
A new design has been applied to the header and layout of the Expenses page.
Expense Report Header:
- Top Left: Expense report purpose, location
- Tiles: Created date, report number, total amount (MST), approval status
Note: The total amount is shown in the accounting currency (MST) as expense lines may use multiple currencies. This ensures a consistent total.
Expense Line Header:
- Top Left: Transaction date, Project ID – Project name
- Tiles: Expense category, currency, transaction amount, status
1.1.4 Resolve Checkbox Select Issue on the Expense Line View
Checkboxes previously opened the expense line and selected it simultaneously. Now:
- The checkbox only selects the row.
- A new ‘Eye’ icon opens the expense line for viewing.
1.1.5 Remove All Filter from Expenses View
The expenses view now only shows draft unattached expenses. The previous “All” filter has been removed to improve performance as data volume grows.
1.1.6 Resolve Issue with Horizontal Scroll Bar
The horizontal scroll bar that appeared by default on the expense line view has been removed at 100% zoom.
1.1.7 Add Colour to the Status for the Expense Report
Status labels now have colored indicators for consistency with other Empower apps, improving visibility and user experience.
1.1.8 Recall Expense Report from Workflow
Expense reports in “In Review” status can now be recalled using a new button on the expense report screen.
1.1.9 Expense Category Drop Down Search
A search capability has been added to the expense category drop-down field to improve user experience, similar to previous enhancements in task drop-downs.
1.1.10 Add to Expense Report on the Expense Form
A new field on the create expense form allows users to select an existing draft expense report. If left blank, the expense will be saved as unattached.
1.1.11 Change Create Expenses Report Button Label
The button label has been changed to “Create Expense Report” for clarity and consistency.
1.1.12 Expand All Sections on Expense Line by Default
All sections in the expense line view are now expanded by default, reducing user clicks and improving usability.
1.1.13 Project Name Added to Expense Lines
Project name is now shown instead of project ID on the expense line view, aligning with user familiarity.
1.1.14 Payment Method Name Added to Expense Lines
The internal value for payment method has been replaced with its descriptive name for better readability.
1.1.15 Indirect Projects Included in Expense Search
Project search now includes both customer-related projects and indirect (non-customer) projects in the expense form.
