Empower Pulse Release Notes v3.0.1 – Features & Known Issues

Empower Pulse Release Notes – v3.0.1

3. Features

3.1.1 Implementing the Project Operations Supervisor Approvals in Pulse

In the previous release, time entry approvals from Project Operations were routed to the project manager as part of standard Project Operations functionality.

With this release, the ability to route time entry approvals to the employee’s line manager or supervisor has been added to Evergreen Service Centric. This enhancement allows approvals to be sent to both the line manager/supervisor and the project manager, if both exist.

Key logic includes:

  • Managerial approvals must be enabled in Evergreen Service Centric for routing to the supervisor to take effect.
  • If both a project manager and supervisor exist, approvals are sent to both.
  • If the project manager and supervisor are the same person, only one approval is sent.

The time entry approval display in Pulse has also been updated to reflect this additional routing information.

3.1.2 Project and Task Field on Expense Form Reordered

Based on user feedback, a minor UI enhancement has been made to the expense form. The Project and Task fields have now been repositioned to appear next to each other for improved usability.
