3.3.6 User Settings (Mobile)

The User Settings page is available to all users and allows configuration of personal preferences within Empower Time on mobile.

Accessing User Settings

To access user settings on mobile, tap the three dots icon in the bottom navigation. This opens a menu where the User Settings option is available.

Available Settings

The following settings can be configured by the user:

• Number of Weeks: Sets how many weeks of timesheets are returned for filtering and search
• Allow Timers with Blank Narrative: Allows users to create a timer without entering a description
• Create Timer without Prompt: Starts a timer immediately without opening the create dialog
• Reset Narrative on Submit: Clears the timer’s narrative after it is moved to the timesheet (when pinned)
• Show Running Timer First: Moves the running timer to the top of the list if enabled

Apply Changes Immediately

Once settings have been adjusted and saved, users can tap the Refresh button to apply the new settings right away instead of waiting until the next app session.
