3.2.2 Home Page

The Empower Time home page provides an overview of the current user’s time activity. It is designed to give quick insights and access to commonly used features.

Action Buttons

Located in the top right corner of the home page (and available throughout the application), the action buttons allow users to quickly create:

• Quick Note
• Timer
• Time Entry

Metric Tiles

At the top of the home page, four metric tiles summarize the user’s time data:

• Today’s Hours
• Today’s Missing Hours
• Period Hours
• Period Missing Hours

Graphs

Below the metric tiles, four graphs provide a visual overview of how time is being recorded:

• Today’s Time by Project
• Current Period Time by Project
• Today’s Time Breakdown
• Current Period’s Time Breakdown

Timer Section

On the right-hand side of the home page is the Running or Last Run Timer section, allowing users to manage their active timers. Available actions include:

• View Running Timer
• Stop Running Timer
• Edit Timer
• Restart Last Run Timer (same day only)

Additional Metrics

Below the timer section, users can view four additional metric tiles related to their daily activity:

• Today’s Timers – Number of Timers
• Today’s Timers – Duration
• Today’s Quick Notes – Number of Notes
• Today’s Quick Notes – Duration
