1. From anywhere within the Assessment view, go to the ‘Inheritance’ request page by clicking on the ‘Inheritance’ link located on the left-hand side panel after the ‘Documents’ section.
2. From the ‘Inheritance’ request page, click on the ‘Created’ button located at the top of the page to filter the list of inheritance requests that have been created but not yet submitted for approval by the inheritance provider.
3. Select the inheritance requests to submit for approval by checking the box in the first column of the table for each request, then clicking Submit to Provider button.
*Note: Keep the box checked next to “Immediately apply all external inheritance requests upon approval by the external inheritance provider.” to avoid having to manually apply approved inheritance requests which is a required final step to complete the inheritance request process. Otherwise, uncheck the box if you prefer to manually apply inheritance requests after each has been approved by the inheritance provider.
*Note: The ‘Inheritance’ button will be color-coded with a red dot and hover-over tooltip to indicate updated status of the external inheritance request that has been submitted to the provider but not yet processed (approved or rejected). The external inheritance ‘Response Status’ will also be updated accordingly.
