3.1. Recommended Use

The following are the recommended instructions for the correct and safe use of the GeoNave system, informing the user of main risks of its misuse.

*The GeoNave system should only be used in agricultural machinery, such as tractors, sprayers, seeders, fertilizers, subsoilers, trucks and so on.

!Check with the agricultural machinery manufacturer for the correct installation of the GeoNave system. Changes not recommended by the machinery manufacturer may cause failures in machinery operation and safety.

!The GeoNave system must not be handled by users unaware of its proper operation. Incorrect handling can cause bodily injury, malfunction and material damage.

!Do not use the system during lightning storms. There is high risk of electric discharges reach the system with possible physical damage to people and equipment.

The following user actions are not recommended.

• Equipment use outside stipulated recommendations of this guide;
• Equipment use combined with accessories from other manufacturers;
• Open or disassemble parts of the equipment using tools, unless expressly authorized by Support and Technical Assistance team;
• Modify system components, such as harnesses and their connectors;
• Equipment use with easily identifiable damages or faults.
