8.2.10. Hitch Type

The Hitch Type parameter tells the GeoNave system how the implement is mechanically attached to the tractor. Depending on the type of coupling selected, system menus and navigation screen assume different settings.

The following image shows the Hitch Type configuration screen.

Below are some considerations about the Hitch Type parameter.

• If the Hitch Type parameter is set to 3-point Hitch (Fixed), the parameter of Implement Distance is displayed in the menu, as shown in the following image.

• If the Hitch Type parameter is set to Drawbar, 3 other parameters are displayed in the menu referring to the implement dimensions in relation to the tractor.
  • Antenna – Hitch distance
  • Hitch – Ground Contact distance
  • Hitch – Boom distance
