5.1. Display Fixation

The GeoNave system is supplied with a set of three suction cups, which must be used to adhere to a flat surface, preferably the agricultural machinery cabin window. The fixation set has an articulated arm , which must be connected to the two spheres, one from the trio of suction cups and the other attached to the display , as shown in the image below.

The following is a description of how to use the display fixation kit.

Trio of suction cups

1. Find a flat and smooth area to place the suction cups, preferably one of the machinery cabin windows;
2. Clean the area with a cloth and mild soap;
3. Dry the area well before placing the suction cups, ensuring that it is free of dust;
4. Set the three suction cups in open position “OFF”;
5. Place the three suction cups on smooth and flat parts of the surface;
6. Press the suction cup against the surface and turn the three suction cup control to closed position “ON” to fix and secure the assembly.

Articulated arm

1. Unscrew the handle until the arm ends are able to embrace the two rubber balls from the trio of suction cups and the display;
2. Adjust the display position in order to obtain the most comfortable and proper viewing;
3. Screw the handle until the whole assembly is firm and in the desired position.

*For tractors without cabin, the set of suction cups must be installed on the machine front bonnet, in order that the three suction cups adhere completely to the surface, which must be as flat and smooth as possible. The surface must be clean, dry and free of dust.
