Terrain compensator is a GeoNave system accessory which considerably improves the GNSS signal accuracy. Its settings are made in Settings > Advanced> Terrain Compensator menu, which is also accessible from the Settings during navigation menu.
To configure the terrain compensator, the following steps must be followed.
- Configure Arrows Position parameter.
- Check Installation status, that should show OK.
- Configure Antenna Height parameter.
- Configure Antenna Side Shift parameter, in case of misalignment in relation to the tractor longitudinal axis.
- Calibrate the terrain compensator, as demonstrated in Calibration topic.
- Check the correct functioning of the three angles.
