Terrain compensator is a GeoNave system accessory which considerably improves the GNSS signal accuracy. Its settings are made in Settings > Advanced> Terrain Compensator menu, which is also accessible from the Settings during navigation menu.

To configure the terrain compensator, the following steps must be followed.

  1. Configure Arrows Position parameter.
    1. Check Installation status, that should show OK.
  2. Configure Antenna Height parameter.
  3. Configure Antenna Side Shift parameter, in case of misalignment in relation to the tractor longitudinal axis.
  4. Calibrate the terrain compensator, as demonstrated in Calibration topic.
  5. Check the correct functioning of the three angles.
    1. Direction.
    2. Inclination.
    3. Pitch.
