6.3.5. Text editing

The Text editing screen template is used to enter a textual parameter value. The screen is basically composed of typing keyboards, graphics items, touch sensitive buttons, title and typed text viewing area.

*The maximum text size of a parameter value is 40 characters.

There are four keyboard models available. In the examples below, the Culture parameter setting screen is presented and described.

Uppercase keyboard

Item	Description
	Text editing screen title bar, containing the name of textual parameter being edited.
	Touch sensitive button to return to previous screen.
	Standard QUERTY uppercase keyboard with space bar.
	Backspace key, used to erase last entered character.
	Shift key in active state, to switch to lowercase keyboard.
	Special character keyboard switching key.
	Numeric keyboard switching key.
	Typed text viewing area.
	Confirm button to save the parameter new textual value.

Lowercase keyboard

	Shift key in the normal state, to switch to uppercase keyboard.

Numeric keypad

Special character keyboard

*After confirmation, for any keyboard pattern, Saving Parameter screen will be displayed. In this screen, parameter new textual value will be saved in the GeoNave system. After that, the next screen that will be displayed is the text editing source screen.
