10.1. Machine setting

In order to correctly perform the agricultural machine setting for spraying operation in the GeoNave system, including tractor and implement parameters setting, some steps must be followed.

Tractor

Work settings

1. Configure Machine name.
2. Configure Hitch Type parameter.
   1. For Hitch Type = 3-point Hitch (Fixed), configure Implement Distance.
   2. For Hitch Type = Drawbar, configure:
      1. Antenna – Hitch Distance.
      2. Hitch – Ground Contact Distance.
      3. Hitch – Boom Distance.

Implement

Work settings

1. Configure Operation parameter as Spraying.
2. Configure Implement Sensor, if present.
3. Configure Overlap parameter.
4. Configure Lateral Displacement parameter.

Spraying settings

1. Set up a spraying Work.
2. Configure implement Boom.
   1. Nozzles Number.
   2. Spacing Nozzle.
   3. Sections Number.
   4. Number of Nozzles Section.
3. Configure implement Valves.
4. Configure implement Sensors.
   1. Configure the nominal value of the Flowmeter constant.
5. Configure sprayer Tank.

Calibrations

1. Flowmeter Calibration.
2. Adjust Flow Control parameters, if necessary.
