Signal Quality information allows the user to check the quality level of the GNSS signal reception of the GeoNave system. This item can assume the values described in the following table, which also includes the signal icon shown in the navigation screen Information Board for each condition.

Signal Quality Description Sign Icon
No signal There is no GNSS signal in the system, or the antenna is not connected.
Weak GNSS signal quality is lower than acceptable, it is not recommended to operate the system in this condition. For this status to be displayed:
  • Number of satellites used < 8 e HDOP > 2.0
Medium GNSS signal quality is at a level considered medium. For this status to be displayed:
  • Number of satellites used < 8 e HDOP between 1.0 and 2.0
Good GNSS signal quality is at a level considered good. There are two condition for this status to be displayed:
  • Number of satellites used < 8 e HDOP < 1.0
  • Number of satellites used > = 8 and HDOP between 1.0 and 2.0
Great GNSS signal quality is great, ideal for the correct operation of the system. For this status to be displayed:
  • Number of satellites used > = 8 and HDOP < 1.0
