During an agricultural operation, it is quite common that the input being used in the application – sprayer fluid, fertilizers, seeds, etc. – runs out in the middle of a guide line. It becomes difficult for the operator to return to the same point at which the input ended without having any visual reference, especially for operations that do not leave visible ground marks, such as spraying in an area with already grown plants.
The GeoNave system has the Navigation Pause function for these situations, in which a pause point is marked on the navigation map, which helps the operator to return to the same position where the input ended after refueling.

On the navigation screen, when there is an active guide, to pause navigation the user must press the pause button . An Information with confirmation screen will be displayed for the user to confirm the navigation pause , as shown in the image below. If the user presses the cancel button , the navigation pause is not performed and the system returns to the previous screen.

Upon confirming the navigation pause, only the last guide on which the pause was made will be shown on the screen, in solid red line, and the deviation from Header will be calculated in relation to it. Between the pause point, marked on the screen in red and identified by the letter P, and the triangle that represents the tractor there will have a dashed line, indicating the direction of the pause point, and an information box will be shown with the distance to the pause point in the format P: Distance, as shown in the following image.

After returning to the place where the pause point was marked, to exit the pause state the user must press the resume navigation button . An Information with confirmation screen will be displayed asking confirmation on the navigation resumption , as shown in the following image. Pressing the cancel button , the pause will be maintained and the system will return to the previous screen.

After confirmation, the navigation screen will return to its standard state.
