In the terrain compensator settings menu, the user will find the Compensator Calibration area. The procedure is required for the GeoNave system to identify all parameters related to the physical installation of the compensator and will allow the system to perform accurate and correct reading of steering, inclination and pitch angles.

When Selecting the item in the menu and pressing the confirm button , the screen for the start of calibration steps 1 and 2 will be presented, in which the procedures must be performed with the tractor in the direction of travel, as shown in the following image.

The screen informs the user of a list of three items required before calibration begins. The machine must be stationary on a level ground, with the engine turned off and the user must draw “T” marks on the ground, aligned with each of the tractor’s 4 wheels axle.
Pressing the confirm button , Step 1 of the calibration will begin, in which the electronic components are calibrated for approximately 1 minute. Afterwards, step 2 will begin automatically, where the machine/compensator set inclination in the direction of travel will be calculated. The images below show the Loading screens referring to calibration steps 1 and 2.

After step 2 completion, the screen of step 3 beginning will be displayed. The user is asked to move the machine and return to the same alignment as before but in the opposite direction of travel, making the 4 wheels align again with the marks on the ground. Once again, the machine must be turned off, and press the confirm button .

At the end of step 3, an Information screen will be displayed indicating the calibration operation success, as shown in the image below.

If during any of the three stages there is some movement of the tractor or of the terrain compensator housing, the calibration process will detect the improper movement and the process will end with an error, as shown in the following image.
